Dr.Kriengsak Receives Medical License In 1987, Dr.Kriengsak received his M.D. from Prince of Songkhla University. Awarded from one of the most prestigious universities renowned for medical treatment and healthcare, Dr.Kriengsak's medical career later progressed to serving as the President of one of Southern Thailand's largest hospitals.
Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother In 1999, the Queen conducted a royal proceeding to Mae Hong Son Province. After having learnt that hemp has been labelled as a narcotics product, the Queen expressed her disappointment and hoped that Thai regulations will start to deregulate hemp from the narcotics list.
Thailand becomes first country in Asia to legalise medical marijuana and hemp Thailand’s legislature on Tuesday agreed to amend the country’s drug law to allow the licensed medical use of marijuana. Hemp was soon legalised, a plant that Thai villagers for fibres cultivated for decades.
Establishment of Thai Hemp Wellness Dr.Kriengsak and Dr.Pipittaporn Liewchanpattana officially started 'Thai Hemp Wellness' with the mission to support farmers income by promoting hemp as the new economic cash crop
MOU with well-known downstream brands for customer orders In 2021, Thai law stipulates that extraction companies must have written agreements with buyers to seek the extraction license. Thai Hemp Wellness partnered with Carabao, and Sappe amongst many other famous downstream brands.
Historical legalisation of cannabis, specifically marijuana, in Thailand Prior to the 9th June 2022 Royal Gazette announcement, Thailand's health minister officially decriminalize marijuana after signing a measure officially dropping cannabis from a list of controlled drugs.
Focus on global markets Our primary market are overseas exports, specifically targeting Japan, United States and Europe, whilst spearheading demand for Thailand's wellness tourism market using cannabis.
Expanding plantation areas beyond Chiangrai We aim to expand the cultivation area to promote and support farmers of the province beyond Chiangrai to other Northern provinces, including Tak, Nan, Payao, and Mae Hong Son
Goal to 10,000 rais We set our sights on expanding to 100,000 rais that raises maximum viability of economy, society, sustainability, and happiness.
Achieve UNSDG2030 By 2030, Thai Hemp Wellness seeks to upgrade Thai infrastructure and uplift Thai farmers that target Goal 3, 7. 8 and 9 amongst others
